Our first location in Anaheim Hills opened in 2014 and OC was loving it so much that we wanted to share that joy with the Inland Empire. Rancho Cucamonga called to us, specifically a beautiful outdoor mall called Victoria Gardens.
We opened that summer, off Kew Ave in Victoria Gardens, next to TGI-Fridays. It was 2015, Cody Bellinger was only 19 years old and playing for the Cucamonga Quakes. We called it “Quake Escape”, and it was the first natural disaster escape room ever launched in the US, with special effects and the whole nine yards. We even had real glass liquor bottles fall off the shelves and break! We wanted it as real as it could get. (We later eliminated the breaking bottles as one day, a glass shard happened to bounce all the way over the bar, out into gameplay. Nobody was hurt, but if you can picture one of us leaping over the bar like a pole vaulter, and chasing down that glass before a client could, it was truly something to laugh at!)
Approximately one year later, we relocated to our current location on Utica, across the street from the Coca Cola Bottling center and Inland Empire Health Plan. This location has a much larger lobby, allowing us to cater to our corporate clientele.
Since we first opened, we have attracted many types of clients, but none more than Families and Corporate. This new location has hosted the likes of: Golden State Foods (48), FEDex (32, Nike (15), Cal Poly Pomona (20), ZTA Sorority of CSUSB (24), Embark Trucking (20), Four Points Sheridan (17), and many, many more. Of course, as much as we love our corporate team-building clients, the family nights, friend groups, and even escape room enthusiasts, are all a part of our amazing fan base.
Our Rancho Team also prides themselves in giving back to the local community! One year, we sent 4 of our Managers to Los Osos High School to participate in a Shark Tank like experience. Their students were tasked with creating an escape room and pitching their ideas to us. Exodus donated a FREE escape to the winning team (and discounts to all teams that participated.) We also work with the local Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and several local churches.
Exodus Rancho Cucamonga currently has three experiences:
*Olympus: You may see/hear lightning & thunder from Zeus, as well as other Greek Gods.
*Pharaoh’s Curse: Has an Indiana Jones feel to it, with a Sarcophagus, Tombs and more!
*Inside Job: Who hasn’t wondered what it would be like to rob a bank? In a REAL bank!
Whether you are a family of 4 or 5 looking to try something new, or a girl scout troop of 10 – 15, or even a company/church group looking to book up to 33 people and run all three experiences at the same time…we are here and looking forward to providing you with an amazing and memorable experience.
